Hi, I'm Dr Mohammed Ali, a qualified family physician. I graduated medical school from the University of Malta in 2017 and completed my family medicine training in the Northwest of England in 2024. In 2025, I moved to Canada to continue my work as a family doctor and embrace a new chapter in my career.
I was born in Sudan, grew up in Germany, then moved to the UK as a teenager. I later studied medicine in Malta and returned to the UK to start working as a doctor. My experiences across these countries have shaped how I connect with patients and strengthened my ability to understand and respect a wide range of cultures and beliefs. I speak English, Arabic and German fluently, again emphasising my strength in diversity.
I'm passionate about patient care, especially the long-term relationships and continuity that family medicine offers. I really enjoy getting to know my patients and being part of their healthcare journey.
I offer wide range of services and treatments, ranging from annual physicals, examinations, minor surgical procedures, screening tests, chronic disease management, counselling on mental health and lifestyle modifications to reduce cholesterol, sugar levels and for weight loss.
Outside of work, I love sports—especially football (the proper kind!) and I'm a lifelong FC Barcelona fan. I also enjoy mixed martial arts and the discipline it brings to mind and body. I'm married to a teacher, and we enjoy both quiet days in and exploring new places together.
I'm currently accepting new patients and look forward to meeting you.
